Established Coffee in 2020
As we enter a new year, we would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support. 2020 at Established is going to see change. We are very excited and fairly apprehensive, both a good place to be. Firstly, we are making some changes in the café. We have some of the best people in the industry and we have been lucky enough to see many of them grow with us in the business. However, we have lost many great people as we have went along. Much of what we have learnt over the past six years has helped push us to make changes this year. From the 6th January 2020 we will close the café everyday at 4pm.
We have thought long and hard about this, as it has not been an easy decision to make as a business. From a community perspective, we know there are many people that enjoy coming in the afternoon or after work to grab a coffee and a chat, or just a quiet moment to themselves. To those who are regular customers in those hours, we genuinely appreciate you and your custom…we look forward to seeing you earlier in the day, if you can make it.
We’ve always known that to have a great business, you need great people. We strive to have a happy, healthy workplace, where staff can enjoy their time at work as much as possible and in turn, offer the best customer experience. The reality is that working on your feet 5-days a week, in a busy service environment, takes its toll mentally and physically. This is the motivation for the change in hours. As of 6th January, full time café staff are moving to a four day work week.
We will however, extend our kitchen opening to 3.30pm everyday and we will now open on a Sunday from 8am. From 12th January, Pie and Drip will be available on Sundays from 1pm.
