Make Better Espresso At Home
For years we've been helping people to brew better filter coffee at home but now it's time for us to show the flat white fanatics, latte lovers, and straight-up espresso drinkers how to get the most from their home set up!
Running on Saturdays, from 10am to 1pm, this hands-on class is for anyone who uses an espresso machine at home and would love to get better at both espresso brewing and milk texturing.
The class focuses on 3 main fundamentals:
-
dialling in espresso
-
steaming milk (dairy & oat are the 2 milks used in the class)
-
machine maintenance
We will be using 2 different machines from the Sage line up - the Barista Pro and the Barista Touch - to work through the fundamentals of tasty home espresso.
We understand there is a host of different home espresso machines and grinders out there, so if you'd prefer to bring your own machine(s) to the class then please let us know in the 'Special Instructions for seller' at checkout. We will still be using the Sage Machines to demonstrate the principles, so if you have questions about using your machine in the class please contact us at education@established.coffee.
Make Better Espresso at Home is a 3 hour class, with a short break in the middle, to enable ample time to work through the fundamentals. The class includes as much coffee as you can brew/drink and a complimentary 250g bag of coffee.
On the day, you’ll also be able to avail of 10% discount on any additional coffee, Established merchandise or products designed to upgrade your setup.
Practicalities
Our classes run from our Roastery, on Corporation Street, so we've been able to add even more value to the class and enrich the experience.
Make your way to the Navy Blue Door, on the Corner of Corporation Street and Great Patrick Street and ring the doorbell - this will bring you straight into the Roastery where a freshly brewed cup of coffee will be waiting! Please note that the spaces directly at the front of the Roastery building are shared between the 4 businesses in our building and not available to the general public. Your best bets for affordable parking are the car parks beside, or directly across from, the skatepark on Corporation Street.
There is wheelchair access into the building, but it is through the building's main lobby, and we can change the heights of the machine tables also so the class is accessible to all - please get in touch if you require any additional assistance.
The class starts at 10am so please arrive 5 minutes before (or 15 minutes before if using your own machine) so we can begin promptly.
Class size is limited to 4 people, to enable each participant gets the full value from the 3 hours. For group bookings or further enquiries, you can email us at education@established.coffee.
If you have received an Espresso Class Voucher and would like to attend a class simply choose from the available spaces then enter the Voucher Code at checkout to confirm your space. Any queries about vouchers can be sent to education@established.coffee.
