There is a joy in finding new coffees but we think there's something special in familiar names returning each year, and we're excited to have one of those lots in Divino Niño! This coffee is a perfect example of the coffees we love to source for our green labelled bags - something that tastes great across the spectrum of brewing methods whilst balancing approachable flavours with layers of complexity that can be uncovered.
This coffee has a lot of sweetness which, when combined with the round body, gives us the notes of butterscotch. This gives way to sweet, fruity notes of plum and has a refreshing raspberry acidity.
This coffee is grown by a group of over 50 producers, led by Edilma Polania Bermeo and the ASOCAFOR co-operative. This coffee was sourced for us by Osito Coffee, who have been working with this co-operative over the last 5 years. Together they have worked to ensure this single origin blend has a great cup quality and that the producers are paid a premium for the level of quality being produced.
