Shipping policy
All orders placed before 10am will be shipped the same working day, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays and other exceptional closures). Orders which are placed after 10am will be processed on the next working day.
SHIPPING
Shipping is calculated at checkout, based on total spend, weight and location of the delivery. The best way to check the rate is to add items to your cart and go to checkout.
FREE UK & IRELAND DELIVERY ON ORDERS OVER £25
We currently offer Free Delivery on orders over £25, fulfilled by Royal Mail 2nd Class (UK) or DPD (ROI). All UK subscriptions also include free Royal Mail 1st class delivery.

DPD Next Day (NI & ROI Only) - £3.50
DPD 2 Day (Great Britain only) - £5.00
Once your order has been fulfilled, you will be sent a Tracking Number, once your order has been shipped, which you can use to track your Royal Mail delivery here or your DPD Delivery here. Royal Mail tracking is limited, and will only update once an initial attempt has been made at delivery. If you see the message "An update will only be provided when we attempt to deliver your item" then your order is still within Royal Mail's system and on its way to you.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVEN’T RECEIVED YOUR ORDER
In normal circumstances Royal Mail aim to deliver the 1st Class (Royal Mail 24) packages within 3 days of dispatch with the 2nd Class (Royal Mail 48) packages within 3 to 5 working days (Monday - Friday). However, at times we do experience sporadic delays with these targets, in particular the 2nd Class service experiencing more regular delays. If your delivery is on the urgent side, we recommend that you use either DPD, Royal Mail 1st Class or local pickup if applicable.
Please Note: Royal Mail will not class an item as lost or missing until 14 working days from the parcel being passed to them. Often once an item is delayed, it will take longer to work its way through their system as it has already failed to meet their targets so is no longer prioritised. If you have not received your order within 7-10 working days, please contact us by email with, quoting your order number, so we can look in to it.
DHL EXPRESS (EU & Rest of World)
Rates for DHL Express are calculated based on the weight of your order. Rates for Europe based on an DHL Express service, with the following delivery times:
Germany, France & Netherlands - 1-2 Days
Rest of Europe - 1-2 Days
We will be seeking to add additional markets, and International Mail services (slower but more economical) in due course.
Duties & Taxes
As we ship from our roastery in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the Northern Ireland Protocol means there are no Duties and Taxes for any goods we send to the EU, unlike similar companies in Great Britain.
Depending on your delivery destination there may be additional duties or taxes which are calculated by that country and the responsibility of the recipient.
For example goods shipped to the USA under $800 are no liable to additional duties or taxes, whilst the figure in Australia is $1000 AUD, but Canada's limit is CAN$20 so most orders will be liable for additional taxes.
When you choose Express delivery by DHL, your order will be sent with the On Demand Delivery (ODD) Service.
DHL ON-DEMAND DELIVERY offers the following free delivery options:
- Deliver my package on Another Day: Scheduled delivery
- Deliver my package to Another Address: Alternate Delivery to work or family.
- Deliver my Package at a Safe Place: Authorise Shipment Release.
- Deliver my package with Neighbour: Leave with neighbour, reception or guard.
- Deliver my package at a DHL Service Point: Hold for Collection.
- Request my Hold My Package: Vacation hold safekeeping up to 30 days.
If you choose Express Delivery, you will receive a notification from DHL EXPRESS ON-DEMAND DELIVERY.
ODD will provide you with email/SMS updates about your shipments progress and estimated delivery date/time.
When the shipment doesn’t fit your schedule the 100% free service enables you to choose the time and place of delivery.
Giving you maximum flexibility and greater control over your shipment.
LOCAL PICK UP
Local Pick Up is available from our cafe, in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter. Any order placed through this webshop is placed through our Roastery, so any orders placed from Friday noon to Monday at 8am will only be processed once the Roastery reopens at 8.30am each Monday morning.
Any orders placed during the working hours of the Roastery (8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday) will be processed ASAP but a notification will always be sent when the order is ready for collection from the cafe.
After receiving your "Ready For Pick Up" notification you can come to the cafe and let one of the team know you're collecting an order.
